3-23 CONSTRUCTION is a company based in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee specializing in new home construction. We are second and third generation builders providing service to Sevier, Knox, Jefferson, Blount and Cocke Counties. We have acquired an expertise for building on the steep slopes and foothills of the Smoky Mountains. Our aim is to provide the best experience possible to our customers, our employees and our suppliers in every project. We are dedicated to becoming unsurpassed in the excellence of our construction and the culture of our company. We want to build the best homes and be the best place to work. Period.
OUR STORY
The story of 3-23 Construction begins with Michael Quilliams, a welder living in Gatlinburg, who started a business called Michael & Family Construction so that he could bring his children to his place of work and teach them a lifestyle of doing things well. He ingrained the concept of Colossians 3:23 into his young children “Whatever you do, do it from the heart, as something done for the Lord and not for people,”. Over the years the business grew, we changed our name and incorporated but it is still a family-owned business, more concerned with pleasing God than people. The interesting thing is, when you do your work as if you were doing it for the Lord, it surpasses people’s expectations and pleases them as well. Michael created a business in order to train up his children in the way they should go and to create a culture that would be beneficial to their spiritual and professional development and that is still our aim. 3-23 Construction exists to JOYFULLY serve God and love people.
